Sussex County FA - Junior Cup - Round 1

Billingshurst 0 - 1 Ardingly

Tough game and the first twenty minutes Billingshurst threw everything at Ardingly – but were unable to score. Indeed Ardingly frequently broke away and created a few openings in the first half. There was lots of movement and support and the tackling was first class.

The second half was different with the wind behind Ardingly – for about twenty minutes we dominated the match and should have scored a few goals.

Eventually it came – a break down the left and Jon Quick tucked away a nice goal from difficult angle.

Everybody battled well – the team spirit was excellent – you deserved to win the match.
